May 2000, Sarah Kavanagh testing her F1 Car

Friday afternoon a mail arrives telling us that Ms Kavanagh is testing her car in Mondello tomorrow Saturday. So along we go, after much effort we find Mondello, one of the best kept secrets in Irish sign posts (then again its hard to read anything when a passenger in Mr. Hayes car/low level aircraft). After some confusion we made it to the right track where we proceeded to spend an interesting hour or so watching the car scream (that close and that loud it really does scream)

taking pictures of an object moving at 170mph is a hell of a lot tougher that you might think, a great many pics came out as empty track, where the car had been when I took the pic.
